Terms & Conditions

Requests
To place a request online, follow the BOOKING links or buttons on the services pages.
Customer registration on the site is required for booking.
In case travel services you wish to have are not available for online requesting or not published at Ukraine-Tours.com, send an enquiry to welcome@ukraine-tours.com and register at Ukraine-Tours.com, if you have not completed it before.
We will add the services, if available, to your online request and will notify you about it.
The majority of requests is processed within one business day after the checkout is completed.
Though some requests may require more time to be completed or can be processed on a later date only.
You will receive a notification if it is the case.
 
Services Availability
All the services are subject of availability.
In case the services are not available we will inform you about alternative options.
Your written confirmation or a new request submission will be required for proceeding further.
 
Booking
Booking is completed after the payment is processed.
 
Prices And Payments
Prices are calculated in UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia).
All the prices provided in other currencies are calculated according to the current National Bank of Ukraine exchange rate.
Prices include all applicable Ukrainian taxes.
The request total amount is shown on the payment page in the both of currencies, UAH and your selected currency. Payment cards (credit or debit cards) are debited in UAH.
Group tariffs are dispatched upon request.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, confirmed requests UAH amounts are not changeable, unless discussed upon the request processing (eg some pending prices unavailable at the moment of request processing or requests processed far in advance).
Visa, MasterCard and American Express international payment cards (credit or debit cards) issued worldwide and domestic Ukrainian cards are accepted.
Payments can be settled online or as a mail order.
Payments are processed in UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). Unipress is not responsible for conversion rate deviation, caused by possible difference of official National Bank of Ukraine rate and conversion rate of Payment Systems, as well as for any other reason including any cardholder's bank or credit card company fees and commissions.

Online payments
Online payments are protected via the SSL secure connection.
We reserve the right to request additional paperwork such as copies of official documents and/or written applications for payment completion, in accordance with the acquiring bank (Raiffeisen Bank Aval) requirements and recommendations.
We reserve the right to stop processing or suspend it and offer other payment method for security reasons.

Mail order payments
Should you wish to use the mail order option, please specify it in your request for booking or send us a message. We will send you the mail order form with payment instructions.
Your request will be processed upon reception of the properly filled form and other required documents.

Bank transfers
Bank transfer payment option is available for business to business transactions only. Bank transfers can be settled in UAH, USD or EUR.
These Terms and Conditions may not apply or apply partially for requests paid via bank transfers.

 
Payment terms
Payments are processed only after the requests are confirmed.

Hotels and other accommodation
Payment is debited 14 days prior to the check-in date, if other terms are not stated when request processing.

Train, air, ferry and other tickets
The request amount is preauthorized (held) when the request is accepted for processing. The payment is settled after the tickets are issued.
If the request contains other services, the payment is settled in accordance with the terms defined for ticket sales.

Other services
Payment is debited 14 days prior to the first service provision date, if other terms are not stated when request processing.

Last minute requests
Requests received later then the terms stated above are considered to be last minute requests. Payment for last minute requests is due instantaneously after confirmation.
We reserve the right to preathorize (put on hold) payments for last minute requests when they are accepted for processing.

 
Cancellations And Refunds
The services can be cancelled on reception of written message only. The message should be sent from the e-mail address stated in the customer's account. If a fax message is sent it should be signed by the customer.
If necessary to make a last minute cancellation, you can do it over the phone. We will enquire your personal information for verification. In case it does not match the information you have provided online when booking, we reserve the right to ignore the cancellation.
Please note, if you have received no response to your letter of cancellation within one business day, it means we have not received your message.
Unipress is liable for cancellation processing and deriving refund only if cancellation letter has been forwarded to Unipress directly and its reception has been confirmed.

Hotels and other accommodation
Hotel cancellations made at 7 days notice or earlier are usually subject to full hotel cost refund. Later cancellations may result in one night stay cost charge. However, cancellation charges depend on each hotel cancellation policy.
In case of cancellation or alteration, Unipress processing fee of UAH 80 (approximately USD 10) per room is applicable.

Air tickets
Air tickets cancellation and refund policy depends on Air company solely.

  • Electronic tickets can be cancelled by sending a written message.

  • The paper tickets should be received by Unipress office at least 10 days prior to the flight for cancellation processing.
    Only having the tickets, we can make the cancellation and process the refund.

  • To cancel paper air tickets when traveling in Ukraine, please make sure to put the cancellation mark on the tickets at nearest air ticketing office and send the tickets to Unipress by registered mail. Refund deadlines are usually limited within one-month term after the flight date.

  • Unipress air tickets booking fees or (and) commissions are non-refundable.

Train tickets
50% of the train ticket cost is refunded, provided one the following conditions is met:

  • Tickets are received by Unipress office for cancellation no later than 10 days prior to the train trip. Only having the tickets we can make the cancellation and process the refund.

  • If necessary to cancel train tickets when traveling in Ukraine, please make sure to get the cancellation documents (blue tickets) at the nearest train station office no later than 72 hours prior to the train trip. The tickets and cancellation documents should be sent to Unipress by registered mail. Refund deadlines are not specified by the railroad. Therefore it is advisable to send the documents right after the cancellation.

  • Unipress train tickets booking fees or (and) commissions are non-refundable.

Car transfers, guide, excursion and other services
These services can be cancelled at three working days notice, and the services cost will be refunded in full. Unipress arrangement and booking fees or (and) commissions are non-refundable.

Vouchers
Vouchers are issued and delivered in originals to the customer upon the following conditions:

  • Customer's written request was received by Unipress.

  • Full payment for the services stated in the vouchers has been collected.

  • Cancellations or alterations are processed only after the vouchers (the 1st copy and the 2nd copy) are returned into Unipress office. The documents should bear no additional marks.

  • Your package reception day is considered to be the date of your cancellation request submission.

 
Liability
Unipress is responsible for completing bookings in accurate and timely manner and guarantees the delivery of booked and duly paid services.
Unipress has no control over standards or quality of services provided by hotels and transport agents, as well as flight or other transportation delays or cancellations.
It is client's responsibility to reach on time the hotels, airports, railway/bus stations, seaports or other departure or service provision places.
Unipress is not responsible for courier and postal service delays or non-deliveries, and any consequences it may result in. Unipress liability is limited by these services' liabilities, their terms and conditions.
We do our best to provide accurate information on services and their quality. If an issue arises, and it cannot be resolved on spot, please contact us before the service provision is completed. We will do our best to find a solution. Please note, we are not able to affect the situation later.
 
Privacy And Confidentiality
All the booking and personal data, financial and payment information is kept confidential.
Service providers receive the part of your personal information only required for your booking processing.
Financial or payment information is forwarded to the acquiring bank (Raiffeisen Bank Aval) in accordance with conditions and practices of International payment systems (VISA, Europay International and American Express).
inquiries made by the third parties about your bookings will not be answered, unless you instruct us to do so. In case, you wish to have someone follow up your bookings for you, please, state it in writing with this person details.
